The art of three dimensions continued.

Since my last post I have been rather busy creating more three dimensional versions of my artwork. I am enjoying this process a lot as it makes me think solely on the depth that is within the pictures and where exactly things are placed within the visual space. So without making you read too much, here are some of my latest creations. I would love to know your thought on these.

For those that do not know how to see these images in full glory, simply follow these instructions.

Position your self a little closer to your monitor than you usually sit and slightly cross your eyes whilst looking at one of these images, you will see a third image appear between the two, now focus upon that third central image. You will notice that with a little practice you can completely relax your eyes into this position and be able to focus upon the different depths within the pictures.

Have fun and enjoy them.

About mraunderwood

I'm an Artist that has a deep fascination with the early part of the 20th century. My paintings are about bringing back to life the almost forgotten silver screen stars of the silent movie era. I work predominately in monochrome due to the desire to recreate the feel and atmosphere of that time, and also keeping the images planted firmly in the past.

Appreciate the follow! I like your 3d work…although I’m having a hard time getting my eyes to relax and see a third picture…

    I’ll keep trying.
